ASM 20 Seismic Earthquake Sensors have very sensitive sensors that can detect seismic movements in three axes (x,y,z,). It detects the seismic vibrations that occur during an earthquake and gives control output and it is designed to automatically disable the devices such as generators, electrical panels, elevators, etc. that may pose a danger during an earthquake. If such movements are detected, it also provides an audible warning with a buzzer and a visual warning with LEDs. Thus, the damages that may occur as a result of the earthquake are minimized.
Additionally, there is 1 fire/gas detector input and 1 fire alarm button input on the device. If desired, a fire alarm button can be connected to the button input, and a gas alarm detector, smoke detector and other systems that are desired to be monitored can be connected to the fire/gas detector input. In this way, earthquakes can be detected and alarm conditions from other systems can be monitored through a single device.
The device has 4 dry contact relay outputs. 2 of the relay outputs are activated during an earthquake and 2 of them are activated when an alarm comes from an externally connected button or detector.
